Patient participation

We have an active Patient Participation Group and a Virtual Patient Group. If you would like to be involved in sharing views from a patient's perspective, please contact the Practice by email sowaccg.poolmedicalcentre@nhs.net to express your interest and request an application form.  Carers' Coffee Afternoon

On Thursday 28th November 2019 the staff at the Pool Medical Centre along with the PPG organised a Carers' Coffee Afternoon at the Parish Centre in Studley.

The event provided carers with the opportunity to speak to local services for advice and support and engage with other local carers.

As part of the event we organised a raffle to raise money for a sensory garden which we are hoping to create at the Surgery. We kindly received donations from the following local businesses:

Bruno's Bakery, Tesco Express, Co-op, Illumi, Flair With Flowers, Studley Florist, Bespoke Butchers, Jacob Anthony's, La CaSa, Siren, Vanity, Rachel's Nails at Halos, Gentleman's Barber, Peaches, Synergy, PSW, Willi's Social of Studley Coffee Lounge and Bar, Sherlocks Sandwich Bar, Studley Fish Bar, Fred's Chippy, ASK Kitchens, KLR Kitchens, Lucky House and W7.

We raised a total of £419.85 thanks to the raffle, cake sales and donations from patients.

Due to the success of the event we are hoping to organise another Carers' Coffee Afternoon sometime in late Spring this year. More details will be available closer to the event.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the PPG, Carers Trust, Carers Careline, Care Companion, Warwickshire County Council People Group, the local businesses and patients for helping to make the event a success.
